Soon after the mountainous and beautifully ridged terrain of north-eastern Albania, our expedition plans took a turn for the south-west.

 

The Albanian riviera, rich in sunny days and well-aerated soil proves to be the loving home of Rock Rose flowers. Growing in a humble environment, these flowers ask too little from nature to give back in return amazing health benefits through their fuchsia petals and leaves.

 

Along the Albanian riviera, we were able to witness beautiful bright pink aureolas of Rock Rose flowers growing in the wild.

 

Seeing for ourselves the paths where this flower grows in the wild and walking through them allowed us to experience in person its blooming cycle and also the hand-picking process that our suppliers of dried plants do so lovingly.
